About

Alexander Greenspan is an associate in RMG’s Litigation and Creditors' Rights Groups. Alex represents individuals, privately-held companies, and public corporations in all aspects of civil litigation. In his creditors' rights practice, he represents secured and unsecured lenders, landlords, and trade creditors in loan restructures, bankruptcy proceedings, foreclosures and commercial litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Alex was a law clerk to The Honorable Pamela K. Alban, Anne Arundel County Circuit Court. Additionally, Alex was a legal intern for the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court Office of the Public Defender and a law clerk for two plaintiff's firms.

Alex graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Journal of Health Care Law and Policy. He also represented a ‘juvenile lifer’ in proceedings for new sentencing and advocated before the Maryland General Assembly for the Juvenile Restoration Act as part of the Youth, Education, and Justice Clinic.

Before law school, Alex taught chemistry, AP physics, and U.S. history in Eastern North Carolina. He coached basketball, track, and drove a school bus. He spent his summers teaching in Mississippi, Baltimore, and Israel.
