Jessica L. Duvall - Associate

About Jessica

Jessica is an associate in the Litigation and Creditors' Rights groups. Her practice is focused on protecting the interests of lenders, landlords, and trade creditors in loan restructures, bankruptcy proceedings, foreclosures, and commercial litigation. This enables her to better counsel lenders on ways to minimize and avoid potential risks that threaten secured positions. In addition to her creditor’s rights experience, she has assisted with general business, employment, and appellate matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Jessica clerked for the Honorable Kevin F. Arthur on the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. She previously worked as a law clerk at a criminal firm in Baltimore and a mid-sized multi-specialty litigation firm in Annapolis.

Jessica graduated magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she served on the executive board of the University of Baltimore Law Review as the publications editor and assisted with preparing estate plans pro bono for persons with special needs as a Special Needs Estate Planning Fellow. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Allegheny College after many frigid winters in Meadville, PA. She now lives in mid-town Baltimore, and competes in long-distance horse racing in her spare time.
