RMG Welcomes Associate Justin Williams

Rosenberg Martin Greenberg is proud to announce that Justin A. Williams has joined the firm as an associate in its Land Use & Zoning practice group, effective December 2, 2014.

Justin will be advising the firm’s clients on all aspects of entitlement and permit processes, including use restrictions, off-street parking requirements, stormwater management, historic preservation, traffic mitigation, green building requirements, and inclusionary housing obligations, among others. He will also assist clients in securing land use approvals for real estate projects in Baltimore City and surrounding counties. Justin’s legal, business and governmental experience provides RMG and its clients with a unique skillset to support real estate developers and projects in this region.

Justin was most recently a member of Venable LLP’s State and Local Government Group, where he counseled clients on land use and zoning matters. Prior to joining Venable, Justin served in the administration of Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake. As an Analyst in the City’s award-winning CitiStat Office, he monitored, analyzed and evaluated the performance of City departments for the Mayor and her senior staff. While with the City, he also coordinated GunStat, a collaborative effort among local, state and federal law enforcement and prosecution agencies to prioritize gun offenders, which has been recognized as a contributing factor to Baltimore’s historic reduction in gun violence. After law school, Justin clerked for the Honorable Sherrie R. Bailey, Circuit Court for Baltimore County.

Justin earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, as well as an MBA and B.A. degree from Bryant University.
