
Gail M. Stern is widely recognized as a skilled, savvy, broad-based business attorney. She has substantial experience in sophisticated real estate matters, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, financings, and corporate and business transactions. She has practiced as an attorney in large firms, as well as acted as in-house counsel to a prominent Fortune 500 company. Her breadth of experience in varying legal positions coupled with her high level of expertise allows her practice to be multi-faceted and robust.
Ms. Stern is an elected member of the Board of Governors of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL), and sits on the International Council of Shopping Center (ICSC) Law Conference Committee. She is a member of The American Law Institute (ALI) and was Past Chair of the Real Property, Planning and Zoning Section of the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA).
Ms. Stern has co-authored and contributed to two books on commercial real estate, and has lectured in front of prominent groups such as ACREL, ICSC, ALI-ABA, Maryland Institute of Continuing Professional Legal Education, MSBA Real Property Section, and various community, bar and civic groups.
