Hilary Baldwin Ruley joined the firm in June 2004. Her practice entails all aspects of civil litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mrs. Ruley served as an associate in the litigation department of McGuireWoods LLP and as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge James R. Eyler of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. Mrs. Ruley is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (B.S. 1999) and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law School (J.D., 2002). She authored the article, Termination of Parental Rights: Statistical Study and Proposed Solutions, 28 J.Leg. 2, 239-323 (2002). She is a member of the bar of the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia, and the United States District Courts for the District of Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Baltimore City Bar Association, the Baltimore County Bar Association and the Baltimore Chapter of the Women's Bar Association.
