Benjamin Rosenberg, Managing
Partner of RMG, is recognized as one of the preeminent litigators
in Maryland. He handles major cases in State and Federal trial courts
and has argued many significant cases at the appellate level.
Rosenberg served as a partner and lead litigator on large, complex cases at Venable, Baetjer and Howard for more than 18 years before co-founding Rosenberg Proutt Funk & Greenberg in 1987. He currently serves on the Appellate Judicial Nominating Commission of Maryland. He has also served on the Judicial Compensation Commission of Maryland and on the Review Board of the Attorney Grievance Commission. As a member of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Board of Governors in the 1980’s, he was one of the founders of the organization’s Litigation Section. Rosenberg is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the Maryland Bar Foundation. He has also been a member of the Board of Directors of The Associated Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, a trustee of the Bryn Mawr School and a trustee of The Walters Art Gallery, where he founded the William T. Walters Associates. He is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University and an honors graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law.
