- Barry C. Greenberg is widely recognized for his expertise in all phases of real estate development and finance. He serves as counsel to commercial and residential developers, investors, and builders in all facets of real estate projects, including contract issues, financing, construction, leasing, and land use. Barry also represents major regional banks and other institutional lenders in connection with real estate acquisition, construction, permanent and other commercial and asset-based lending.

Barry also represents technology companies in connection with on-line consumer business matters, and counsels equipment leasing companies and other businesses on a variety of legal and business matters.

Prior to co-founding Rosenberg Proutt Funk & Greenberg in 1987, Barry spent three years in the real estate department of a major Baltimore law firm. For over ten years, he was an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland School of Law, teaching the Modern Real Estate Transactions course.

Barry has been selected by his peers for inclusion, in the area of Real Estate Law, in The Best Lawyers in America for every year since 2004. In addition, he has been recognized for exceptional standing in the area of Real Estate Law in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business in the 2005, 2006 and 2007 editions. In his 2006 profile, Barry was recognized as "a problem solver who takes a prudent and pratical approach to any issue."

Barry Greenberg is a graduate of Haverford College and an honors graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law.
