  • Benjamin Rosenberg has been selected to receive the Champion of Justice Award from the Legal Aid Bureau's Equal Justice Council.  The award, which will be presented at the EJC's 11th Annual Recognition Breakfast on May 22, 2008, is being given to Mr. Rosenberg to recognize his outstanding leadership efforts and support of Legal Aid.
  • For the second year in a row, seven lawyers from Rosenberg | Martin | Greenberg, LLP were selected to appear in a list of Maryland “Super Lawyers” published in the January issues (2007 and 2008) of Baltimore Magazine and Maryland Super Lawyers Magazine.  The attorneys were recognized based on their accomplishments in their particular practice areas:

Additionally, Benjamin Rosenberg was included in “The Top 10” list for 2007.  This list was based on attorneys that received the highest point totals in the 2007 Maryland Super Lawyers balloting, research and blue ribbon review process.

  • Rosenberg | Martin | Greenberg, LLP was recognized by The Baltimore Business Journal as the 19th largest law firm in the Baltimore area in the 2008 edition of The Book of Lists.  The rankings are based upon the number of lawyers in Baltimore-area offices, utilizing information submitted by individual firms in February of 2007.
  • The 2008 edition of Benchmark:  America’s Leading Litigation Firms and Attorneys lists Rosenberg | Martin | Greenberg as a “recommended firm” and four of its partners as “Local Litigation Stars.”  The firm’s attorneys are described as “can-do people” who “know their stuff.”  Benchmark describes managing partner Benjamin Rosenberg as a “star trial lawyer” whose clients say he is also “excellent on his feet and knows all the right people” at the appellate level.  Gerard Martin is noted “for his ability to try criminal and civil cases with equal skill” and is described as an attorney who has “done everything and knows his way around.”  Gerard Gaeng, who concentrates in complex business and government litigation, is described by clients who say he offers “astounding results” and is “simply the best”.  David Wyand is noted as “capable,” “one of the better writers,” and “a litigator with the ability to focus on the appropriate issues.”

  • The Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland selected Hilary Baldwin Ruley as a recipient of a 2007 Maryland Pro Bono Service Award. The award symbolizes the Center's recognition and appreciation of pro bono efforts made as well as the commitment and dedication made to the legal profession for helping to ensure equal access to justice.  Mrs. Ruley was recognized at the Maryland State bar Association's Annual Meeting on Saturday, June 16th, 2007 in Ocean City, Maryland. Click here for more details on the 2007 Award Winners.

    Benjamin Rosenberg was selected in the field of Commercial Litigation; Gerard P. Martin was selected in the field of White-Collar Criminal Defense; Barry Greenberg was selected in the field of Real Estate Law; Stanley S.   • The National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc. elected Rosenberg | Martin Paralegal Dorothe Howell, ACP, to serve a two year term on their Board as Region II Director at it's annual convention in New Orleans in July.
  • Towson University has announced that Gerard Gaeng has been selected as the recipient of the 2007 Dean's Recognition Award for the University's College of Liberal Arts. The award is presented annually to a graduate of the college who has displayed outstanding leadership and notable success in his or her field of expertise.  The award will be presented at the University's Distinguished Alumni and Dean's Recognition Awards Banquet on May 3, 2007.
